The purchase of any travel services offered by Husky Iceland – constitutes a contractual agreement. We therefore recommend that you read and understand these policies prior to booking.
Once payment is confirmed, you will receive an email with an attachment containing your ticket and invoice with a booking number and a list of services purchased. Please check the details of your confirmation carefully to ensure they are exactly as you requested.
All cancellations must be made by e-mail. In conformity with business practices within the Icelandic travel industry. Husky Iceland is obliged to charge cancellation fees to the client as follows:
April 1 – December 1:
For individuals ( regular rate & group smaller than 8pax)
48 hours or less prior to departure – No refund
Over 49 hours prior to departure – 90% of the total amount refunded.
For groups (group of 8 pax or more) or private/customized tours
72 hours prior to departure – No refund
13 days up to 49 hours prior to departure – 50% of the total amount refunded
30 days up to 14 days prior to departure – 75% of the total amount refunded
Over 30 days prior to departure – 90% of the total amount refunded
Peak Season December 1st – March 20th:
For individuals ( regular rate & group smaller than 8pax)
72 hours or less prior to departure – No refund
Over 73 hours prior to departure – 90% of the total amount refunded.
For groups (group of 8 pax or more) or private/customized tours
96 hours prior to departure – No refund
13 days up to 49 hours prior to departure – 50% of the total amount refunded
30 days up to 14 days prior to departure – 75% of the total amount refunded
Over 30 days prior to departure – 90% of the total amount refunded
Please note that third party transaction fees and currency exchange may occur.
Any trip cancelled or interrupted by the client or because of the actions of the client will result in no refund.
With the purchase of a tour through the website, you accept these conditions and confirm that you understand them and that you accept responsibility for your participation in your tour.
Iceland is a country where weather conditions can change rapidly. Husky Iceland reserves the tight to alter tours due to adverse weather or road conditions or any other reason. All tours can be changed or cancelled at any moment during the trip to assure the safety of the clients and staff. All participants on tours are advised that they participate in all activities at their own risk. If weather does not allow the tour to proceed, 100% of the total amount will be refunded.
When a passenger is not present at the meeting point, the guides are allowed to start the tour without the missing passenger (in order to not delay the tour for the rest of the passengers). This is considered a “No Show” and no refund will be provided.
When a participant is not present at the set meeting time is considered a “No Show” and no refund will be provided, meeting time is given in the confirmation email the day before, usually 15-30min prior to the tour time.
Husky Iceland does not assume any responsibility for:
Any wrong instructions given by a third party including GPS or Sat Nav
Road/ weather conditions, or driving behaviour, including any events that occur during the drive to our location.
Directions to your tour location will be sent directly via email the day before your tour.
It is the client’s responsibility to make sure they are driving to the right location. In case of doubt, please contact us directly.
Husky Iceland strongly recommends to all its clients to purchase travel insurance from a reputable provider in their country of origin, prior to their journey to Iceland. It is important for all travellers to protect themselves in case of unforeseen problems or additional costs.

All customers need to be able to be reachable either by the email or phone number provided during the time of the booking. Husky Iceland can not be held responsible if the customer cannot be reached out while in Iceland or before the tour due to wrong, not accurate information provided to Husky Iceland.
Husky Iceland reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
Husky Iceland reserves all rights to delay, alter/ shorten or cancel tours due to weather or any unsafe conditions for safety reasons. Or to remove individuals where participant(s) do(es) not follow the guides directions including but not restricted to entering underground openings, traversing unsafe terrain, driving rules, time constraint issues or failure to follow your guides instruction prior or during the tour.
Any tour started is not refundable.
Husky Iceland acts as a tour operator and does not assume responsibility for accidents or deaths that can be traced to the participant´s negligence, acts of third parties or exterior circumstances beyond Husky Iceland control (force majeure) such as weather, natural occurrences, war or other similar causes. No responsibility is accepted for losses, expenses due to delays, changes of flights, or other services or because of strikes, accidents, sickness, damage, negligence, weather, war, changes in schedules, or other similar causes beyond our control.
All such losses and expenses are the personal liability of the traveler.
The estimated duration of tours as indicated on our website, are standard times and can vary.
In all arrangements involving third parties Husky Iceland acts only as the agent of the Client and no liability of any kind whatsoever shall be attached to Husky Iceland in connection with or arising from such arrangement with a third party.
Tours can be operated on Cart (wheels) or snow sled depending on the weather conditions.
Services booked directly at the Husky Iceland website require a valid credit card that is charged upon booking. We accept Visa and Mastercard payments. Transaction fees may occur.
All prices quoted on the Husky Iceland website, are in Icelandic kronas (ISK) and calculated per person (regular departures), unless otherwise specified. Our currency converter is for guidance purposes only. Prices are subject to change without notice in the event of currency fluctuations, government taxes, or any such cost increase, which is beyond Husky Iceland’s control.
After the payment has been confirmed, the price is guaranteed against any surcharge, unless an increase is due to government laws or currency changes. Should the surcharge exceed 10%, clients will be entitled to cancel their booking with a full refund.
All refunds are processed in ISK. As Husky Iceland does not charge any booking or transaction fees, no responsibility can be held to any loss in currency exchange during transactions. nor for any third party transaction fees that may occur at the time of payment and/or refund, such as fees imposed by your bank or other international transfer fees.
All personal information will be strictly confidential and will not be given or sold to a third party.
While Husky Iceland strives to provide accurate information, the website may contain inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date information. Husky Iceland takes no responsibility for errors or omissions in the content of the website, and makes no commitment to update such information. Husky Iceland shall not be liable for any damages relating to the use of, or reliance upon, the website or such information, features, material or services.
You authorize expressly and without any compensation, Husky Iceland, to use any of the photographs taken of you or your children during your trip, for publicity purposes of Husky Iceland.
Special needs participants should inquire about the tour prior to booking.
Not suitable during pregnancy
Min age: 6 years old – (4yo from May to September)
Minors (under 18 years old) must be accompanied by a parent or tutor on the ride
Participant should be physically fit – Max weight 95kg pp and BMI below 30. If you have any concern or questions regarding the limits, please don’t hesitate to call us. We’ll do our best to make the tour possible for you.
Husky Iceland has the right to refuse anyone that do not fulfil this requirements:
With a 90% refund, if the reservation is cancelled right away.
Without any refund, if the cancellation has to be made by Husky Iceland on location, because of wrong information given.
Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to come on the tour or near the dogs no refund will occur.
Husky Iceland welcomes all clients to comment and provide feedback of the tours. The recommended way is to send an e-mail.
If you are not satisfied with the services for any reason email Husky Iceland as soon as possible.
Prices given by Husky Iceland already include taxes.
These Terms and Conditions are in accordance with Icelandic law.
